A Flor (The Flower)

Comprei um vaso

Com linda flor.

Neguei-lhe água

A flor murchou.

Muito tristonha

Olhava pra mim

Então plantei-a

Junto à fonte

Lá no jardim.

Hoje eu a vejo

Da minha janela

Cheia de vida

E muito bela!

I bought a vase

With beautiful flower.

I denied her water

The flower wilted.

very sad

She looked at me

Then, I planted it

Near the fountain

There in the garden.

Today I see her

From my window

Full of life

And very beautiful!
